Apparently  i forgot my bag of mdma at home cuz i was not prepared for the techno last night. I think i peaced after 3 songs great group intense lights strobe nearly as strong as the good old Sportex 2001 rave where 2 kids dropped due to seizures. . I left to meet up with Mikey and Scotty who were well on there way to a wine hangover

WOOOOEEEEEEEE i am starting to feel more and more like a rock star . Last night i was in the painting studio splattering like a madman when i remembered that Hot Chip
was playing at the Commodore in a few hours. Mikey and i had planned to hang that night anyway so i said lets roll down and see if i got a plus one. Upon arriving we saw little to no one in the line up and it was near 11:30 so i assumed we had missed  most of the show. But to my delight they had just finished the first song. The gentleman at the will call said i was not on the list but with out me even asking he made a call upstairs and Mikey and i were in like Flynn i have no idea what that means just know my brother Frankie use to say that to me all the time. Any hoo back to the story  we got on the dance floor and thats when my mind got blown the grooves were so tight but just the right amount of sloppy to know they were improvising and playing live not all backing tracks. The lead singer was so nerdy it was awesome such an awkwardly soulful voice. I danced right up until it was time to leave and meet Parker for Sharona's birthday. They played songs mostly from the new record which i am well versed in. Lots of my friends tell me its not as good as their second record. so I'm going to a little research today and let you know
Hot Chip live 8 out of 10

9:40 am And I'm jumping out bed WTF ? After all i did put my paints away @ 5am. I don't know when this started but it has become a norm . Like James Brown "I got the feeling".  The feeling that i have a lot of art to make in a little space of time. I mean I'm having visions of room sized white boards & wall sized calenders filled with magical ideas and deadline. Ha ha so in your face grade 2 teacher Curtis's desk is still cluttered and disorderly but he has moved up to a 7 out of 10 for time management
